Whitehorse Climate Strike  & FridaysforFuture

School strikers are calling on everyone―young people, parents, workers, and all concerned citizens―to join climate strikes September 20 and a week of actions culminating in a massive rally September 27th.

It’s important that we don’t leave the young people to fight for future without the rest of us. We need to follow their leadership and participate.

The Whitehorse City Council voted on Monday, Sept. 23rd to declare a climate emergency.

This means that Whitehorse city staff and public are now able to critique and commend all decisions through a climate lens. Maybe this means the city will make increasingly good choices in light of the climate crisis.

Join the Whitehorse Climate Strike & FridaysforFuture on Friday September 27th, 12 - 1pm @ City Hall.
