YCS 50th Anniversary Events: Ski to Canyon City

Saturday March 31, 10am-12pm, XC ski to Canyon City and back. Meet at Chadburn Lake Rd. km 4 (ski trails parking lot).

Each summer YCS offers free guided hikes to Canyon City. Join us for the winter version! We'll be meeting at the Chadburn Ski Trails parking lot at 10 am. We'll ski to Canyon City and back, learning about the area's rich cultural and natural history along the way.
This is a great way to get outside and enjoy the last of the winter weather on the sunny ski trails!
Please bring your own ski equipment and dress for the weather. We'll be moving at a gentle pace but some experience is recommended. All ages welcome to this free event.
Please call the office at 867-668-5678 with any questions prior to Saturday.

Directions: Cross the bridge into Riverdale and continue along Lewes Blvd. until the roundabout. Turn right onto Nisutlin Dr. and continue past Alsek Rd. to the end. Just before the Fish Ladder, turn left onto Chadburn Lake Rd. Continue along this road for 4 km. Just after the Schwatka Lake turnoff, the ski trails parking lot will be on your right - there is a large map sign at the far end of the parking lot. Park here.
