No Wasted Words Awards

The Yukon Conservation Society and Zero Waste Yukon / Raven ReCentre were pleased to host the 1st annual awards night for the No Wasted Words Writing Contest on Saturday, April 13th in honour of Earth Month.

Taking place at Well-Read Books, the ultimate source of not wasting the written word in Whitehorse, awards were handed out to participants who had submitted a short work of fiction, non-fiction, or poetry with a zero waste or conservation theme.
