Since 1980,

YCS has been leading guided hikes around Miles/Kwanlin Canyon. These offer visitors and locals a chance to learn about the rich history and geology of and flora & fauna within the area.

Art meets the Outdoors

Over the years, we have organized events which help connect Yukoners with our landscape and history through creative media. Our Created at the Canyon event, hosted outdoors at Miles Canyon aims to support local artists to engage with each other and the public in our natural spaces. Several artists are selected to participate and are paid for their time; finished artwork are displayed at the Yukon Arts Centre Community Gallery.
